How long does a custom furniture order take?

Typically 4โ€“8 weeks from order confirmation, depending on the piece and wood availability. We source, season, and craft โ€” never rush. We'll give you a clear timeline before you pay.

Do you use teak from legal sources only?

Absolutely. We source timber from private land with proper documentation, buy trees from homeowners' courtyards, and comply fully with Kerala forest and timber regulations. Every piece comes with full transparency on wood origin.

Can I buy my own wood and have you make the furniture?

Yes. If you have timber โ€” from your land or purchased โ€” we can take it to our mill in Kakkoor, saw it to specification (pattika, palaka, kazhikol), season it, and craft your furniture. Contact us to discuss.

Do you buy trees from private property?

Yes โ€” this is one of our unique services. If you have teak, mahogany, anjili, or even coconut trees you want to sell, our team will visit, evaluate, and offer a fair price. No middlemen, straight to our mill. Contact us on WhatsApp to schedule a visit.

What woods do you work with?

Primarily teak (เดคเต‡เด•เตเด•เต), mahogany (เดฎเดนเดพเด—เดฃเดฟ), anjili (เด†เดžเตเดžเดฟเดฒเดฟ), and coconut (เดคเต†เด™เตเด™เต). For specific pieces or requests, we also work with rosewood and other hardwoods as per availability and your budget.

Is the wood clock available for shipping outside Kerala?

Yes! Wood clocks, Chellam money banks, and smaller dรฉcor pieces are available for shipping across India. For NRIs, we ship to major couriers that handle international delivery. Pay advance, we craft it, ship before balance. WhatsApp us to arrange.

Can I customise the size and design?

Completely. We are a bespoke workshop โ€” every piece is made to your specification. Your room dimensions, your preferred wood, your carving style, your finish. We don't make furniture and ask you to fit into it. We make it for you.

What does the Lifetime Warranty cover?

Any defect in craftsmanship โ€” joint failure, surface issues, structural problems โ€” we will repair or replace at no cost. The warranty doesn't cover physical damage from accidents or misuse, but solid hardwood furniture rarely has such problems. We've never had a major warranty claim in 20 years.

Do you do bulk corporate clock orders with logo engraving?

Yes, and this is one of our most popular services. Minimum order for corporate logos is 10 pieces. We engrave your company logo, tagline, or personal message. Deliver in premium packaging. The gift that employees keep on their walls for decades โ€” not a pen that runs out in a week.

Is Vavas furniture very expensive?
